We’re excited to welcome Micah Bosico to the DESCCO team as our new Business Development Manager!
Micah is passionate about building strong relationships and helping others turn ideas into reality. With experience in heavy building materials and software, combined with a degree in Economics from Liberty University, he brings a well-rounded perspective and a collaborative mindset.
As a Lehigh Valley native, Micah was drawn to DESCCO not only for its strong reputation, but for its commitment to putting people first.
“The construction industry is built on relationships and DESCCO has a long-standing reputation in the area for high quality work at a good price, with service that you just won’t get with some of the larger providers in the area,” Micah shared. “On top of that, the entire DESCCO team is committed to doing right by their customers, subcontractors, and employees at every step along the way.”
That shared commitment made joining the team an easy decision and we’re glad he’s here!
Building Relationships That Matter
What excites Micah most about Business Development is simple: people.
“I love building relationships with people that are building something- whether that’s a business, physical building, or their team, I want to be a part of it,” he said. “I’ve been lucky enough to build some great relationships over the last few years and am looking forward to bringing more partners into the DESCCO family.”
His approach is rooted in authenticity, trust, and long-term partnership, which are all values that align perfectly with our mission.
Work Style: Ownership, Speed, and Intention
When it comes to how he works, Micah keeps it focused and accountable.
“Ownership, speed, and intention. It’s never healthy to play the “blame game” and when you’re working on a team, we’re all accountable,” he said. “Fail fast, acknowledge what went wrong (or right) and take that into account moving forward. Figure out a few specific actions that move the needle in your role and spend the bulk of your time on those things.”
Outside the Office
Outside of work, Micah enjoys staying active and hands-on with his hobbies.
“I’m an avid hobbyist, so I try to limit myself to only having a few interests at a time. While my first loves will always be hunting, fishing, and spending time in the woods, I’ve put a good bit of effort into learning how to cook what I would consider to be some of the best BBQ in Pennsylvania. Next up? I’m entering the golf world.”
And when it comes to a perfect weekend?
“If I could spend every day with my wife on a lake or in the woods, I’d be a happy man,” he said. “My current weekend routine of church, grocery shopping, and take-out is still pretty great though.”

“Penn State Creamery’s Grilled Stickies. It’s only sold in two locations and one of them is a five-minute walk from my house.”
