Your Blueprint for the Day-to-Day
- Read drawings and complete quality commercial carpentry work on commercial construction projects, including new builds and repairs.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and step in to support site leadership when the Superintendent is off-site.
- Take ownership of materials and site readiness to keep projects moving.
- Mentor crew members and help maintain consistent craftsmanship across the team.
- Support a variety of construction tasks beyond carpentry when needed.
- Participate in site meetings reviewing progress and project timelines, and addressing any issues.
- Ensure all project timelines are met while maintaining superior workmanship and quality.
- Travel to commercial job sites within approximately 1–1.25 hours of Fleetwood.
The Tools You Bring to the Table
- Experienced: 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience required. Able to read and interpret drawings and work independently. Strong understanding of jobsite safety and OSHA standards required; OSHA 10 certification required or willingness to obtain (company-sponsored).
- Accountable Takes ownership of job-site responsibilities and steps up to support leadership when needed.
- Craftsmanship-driven: Takes pride in quality workmanship and consistent execution.
- Active: Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, and work from ladders or scaffolding.
- Provides personal hand tools for daily work.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time position (40–45 hours per week) with a 6:00 or 7:00 AM start time
- $25–$33 per hour
