The Position:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring successful and timely completion within budgetary constraints. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of commercial construction processes.

Skills & Responsibilities:
1. Construction Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of heavy construction methods, equipment, and techniques.
- Familiarity with various construction materials and their applications.
- Understanding of project scheduling, sequencing, and critical path analysis in construction projects.
2. Leadership and Team Management:
- Excellent leadership skills to guide and motivate teams of diverse professionals, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Capacity to delegate tasks, provide clear instructions, and manage conflicts when they arise.
3. Communication:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, clients, regulatory bodies, and team members.
- Active listening and the ability to convey complex technical information in understandable terms.
4. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Aptitude for identifying potential issues, analyzing problems, and making effective decisions to keep projects on track.
- Critical thinking skills to find innovative solutions to challenges that arise during construction.
5. Risk Management:
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with heavy construction projects.
- Implementation of safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all personnel on the construction site.
6. Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Skill in negotiating contracts, change orders, and managing vendor relationships to optimize project costs and outcomes.
7. Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency with construction-related software, project management tools, and relevant technologies.

- Ability to adapt to changing project conditions, unexpected challenges, and fluctuating work environments inherent to heavy construction projects.

Qualifications:
- 10 years of practical experience or a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager, with a successful track record of managing projects from conception to completion.
